# FAQ

Reference the Frequently Asked Questions below to help provide clarity on the Confirmation of Funds APIs.

Currently, it does per Client. However, we do support multiple Clients per Partner, which allows us to set up one (or many) new Client(s). Each new Client would have their own Client ID, Client Secret, redirect URI, and configurations.

Three options exist to revoke an existing access token:

1. Wait 90 days for the token to expire (90 days, as required by PSD2 legislation);
2. Call the Revoke Token APIs;
3. Ask the Customer to revoke the access by doing the following:

* Login to [americanexpress.com](http://americanexpress.com);
* Click on Account Services;
* Click on Securityand Privacy;
* Click on Manage Partner Permissions;
* See the *Revoke Consent* advisory, click Disconnect, and confirm the disconnect.

If a new certificate is issued to the Client who requested the access, then yes. The certificate can be used immediately after its installed. In the case that a certificate is issued to a different Client, we must first configure access for the new Client.

Yes. However, we recommend having only one certificate installed at a time for a specific Client.

No. The API calls that the Client can execute after the new certificate is installed are listed in the Environments URL section in this Guide.

It typically takes five-to-seven business days to install a new certificate.

To avoid any impact to the current connections, the certificate renewal process is as follows:

1. We will reach out to you requesting a new certificate when a certificate is about to expire.
2. When we receive the new certificate, it will be validated and we will proceed to schedule installation.
3. Once the new certificate is installed at our Security Gateway, we will inform you so you can begin consuming it immediately.
4. Once you consume the new certificate, will proceed to remove the old certificate from our Security Gateway.

No. As long as the transition from the old certificate to the new certificate was completed prior to the expiration of the old certificate, there should be no impact to the Card holders.

No.

The ASPSP uses QWAC certificates.
