# Grant Access Journey

### Grant Access Journey Customization

As part of granting access to the Sandbox environment, American Express must create and configure your customized Grant Access Journey which includes your Brand Name. These will be displayed in both the Grant Access and Revoke Access Journeys to the Card Member.

Upon requesting access to the Sandbox environment, the following events will occur:

1. On American Express Developers, within the online request form, you will be asked for:

* The redirect URI (see \<redirect\_uri> below) to be used for testing.
* The Brand Name to be displayed within the Grant Access Journey.

2. American Express will configure the Grant and Revoke Access Journeys.
3. Once completed, American Express will email a completion notification to you.

IMPORTANT: Please allow a few days for American Express to configure the Grant Access Journey customizations. Upon completion, you will receive an email notification that the Grant Access Journey customization has been completed and that the Sandbox environment is available to you. Within this notification, you will receive the Grant Access URL you should use for testing. Test Accounts will be pre-configured in the environment. The details of the test accounts can be found below.

Upon requesting access to the Production environment, the following events will occur:

1. On American Express Developers, within the online request form, you will be asked for:

* The redirect URI (see \<redirect\_uri> below) to be used for Production.

2. American Express will email you requesting:

* Your Public PSD2 eIDAS QWAC Certificate:
* Certificate spec: ETSI TS 119 495 QWAC.
* NOTE: UK Open Banking TLS Certificates (OBWAC) are not currently accepted.

3. American Express will configure the Production Grant Access Journey
4. Once completed, American Express will email a completion notification to you.

IMPORTANT: Please allow a few days for American Express to configure the Grant Access Journey customizations. Upon completion, you will receive an email notification that the Grant Access Journey customization has completed and that the Production environment is available to you. Within this notification, you will receive the Grant Access URL you should use for the Production Journey. Mutual TLS will be configured for the Production Endpoints. Please ensure you call the Endpoints with the same Certificate you provide above.
