# Create a Support Ticket

> **Note**
>
> Raising a ticket needs a signed-in American Express Developers account, so
> the form itself lives on the portal.

#### [Create a support ticket](https://developer.americanexpress.com/support)

Open the ticket form on the American Express Developers portal.

#### [Frequently asked questions](/support/faq)

Check the answers to common questions first.

## Before you get in touch

* Have your **Client ID** and the **product name** to hand; both speed up routing.
* Note the **environment** you hit the problem in — Sandbox or Production.
* Include the **Request-Id** from the response header of a failing call. Every
Amex API echoes it back, and it is what support traces.

## Requesting product access

Some products are not publicly listed, and some have a locked API Reference.
For those, ask the team directly rather than through the ticket form — see
[How It Works](https://developer.americanexpress.com/documentation/how-it-works) for the full access
journey.
