If you don’t have sufficient authority to accept the terms on behalf of your company, you can have somebody with authority create an account on American Express Developers, and they can accept the terms on behalf of your company. After that authorizing user has their account created and validated, please contact us to provide us with their account details. We will then add them to your project so they can accept the terms.

“CDR” is the acronym for Consumer Data Right, an Australian data privacy, security and integrity measure. CDR is an economy-wide reform that will be rolled out sector by sector. As it grows, it will become more powerful for Australian households and businesses. The Consumer Data Right has already been rolled out to the banking and energy industries, with non-bank lending to follow as the third sector. Yes. Additional products will become accessible on the American Express Developers API Portal as they become available. Users and Partners are encouraged to check for new products often.

You may be asked to answer some questions before receiving Sandbox or Production access. Some products have minimum requirements, such as being an American Express accepting Merchant, etc.

Some products have minimum requirements, such as being an American Express accepting Merchant, or Issuer, etc. Also, some American Express Developers products are available on third-party websites, and only the Overview documentation for them is available on American Express Developers, such as At Work APIs.

Currently, you will need a unique set of credentials for each API product, in each environment.

Your credentials don’t have a default expiration date. However, we may review our policies periodically and communicate changes, if and when there are any.
